In the fast paced online world it is hard to keep up with the latest updates to all the social media platforms.

Some of you may have noticed a couple of changes to Facebook recently so here is all that you need to know about the two latest updates, Facebook Reactions and Instant Articles.

We are all familiar with the infamous 'like' button that Facebook introduced in 2010. But now you can do more than just like a post, you can react to it with one of the six new reactions available. This means you can express your feelings about a post.

Facebook's choice to update from just the simple like button to reactions has come from the rise of the emojis in our everyday life and how they are being used to communicate emotions.

One of Facebook's latest updates is instant updates, they are quick-loading stories from publishers that load on Facebook’s app 10 times faster than before.

The articles, which are hosted on Facebook’s servers, are well designed and create a genuinely better experience than waiting for an article to load on the mobile web.

It is interesting to see how Facebook is adapting to keep up with modern technology. We are sure they will continue and bring more exciting updates in the future!
